When a malevolent alien force known as the Xiliens took control of Earth's monsters and unleashed them against mankind in the year 20XX, the last remnants of the EDF freed Godzilla from his prison and used the Gotengo to lure him across the globe, where he defeated the Xiliens' army of monsters one-by-one. The Earth Defense Force was formed to battle Godzilla and the other monsters that threatened the world, but could never defeat Godzilla until one fateful battle where the Gotengo managed to seal Godzilla under an ice sheet in Antarctica. This Godzilla first appeared in 1954, and became the most fearsome enemy of mankind over the following decades.

It is the fifth and final incarnation of Godzilla to appear in the Millennium series of films and the ninth onscreen incarnation of the character overall. ~ Douglas Gordon before awakening Godzilla.įinal Godzilla (ファイナルゴジラ) is a kaiju that appeared in the 2004 Godzilla film, Godzilla: Final Wars. This would be the most ridiculous and farfetched thing they could ever add into MHW, but if they DID add it, it DEFINITELY would pay off.Godzilla. It also would make the game explode in popularity in Japan, even more than it already has. It would get a lot of media attention and attention from people who don't play the game, bringing more people to the Monster Hunter franchise. I know Capcom will never see this, and I know its completely ridiculous, and the weapons and armor are most likely super overpowered, but this would be a great thing to add into the game. The effluvia proc from the weapons and the armor stack. This effects every enemy besides the Girros, Vaal Hazak, and Godzilla. The actual physical damage of the weapon is very low compared to other max tier weapons (its comparable to tier 2 or 3 weapons), but it makes up for it with the effluvia proc. It also is the only ailment in the game that has a 100% activation rate when you damage an enemy. His weapons also causes effluvia, but instead of it being a passive that lasts forever, it lasts for 5 minutes straight, and increases in damage by 1 with each sequential proc. This effluvia causes pitiful damage (5-10 damage a proc), but will last as long as you are near the monster. The armor you can craft from him makes you resistant to effluvia and causes effluvia to nearby enemies. The way to defeat Godzilla is not by outright slaying him, but by getting him into his second phase and surviving long enough for him to keel over from the meltdown. When climbing him in this stage, he has Zorah Magdaros style flame welts that occasionally shoot out flames, doing fire damage and can afflict Fireblight. The effluvia type effect that he emits when close to him has a longer range and drains health 50 percent faster. If you get hit by one of his attacks during this phase, it leaves you with the Radiation for a short while. This decreases the damage of his attacks, but makes him quite a bit faster. He'd have two phases, and the second phase is when he starts a meltdown. You can mount him by pressing a button while on his nose, but this doesn't stop him from attacking normally. You'd have to not only break his feet, but climb on Godzilla to stand on his head and whack it. The impact point of the Atomic Breath has a radius of Radiation, but your health drains 3 times quicker. This is due to the Radiation killing you once you only have recoverable health He'd have stomps that shake the ground, a charge similar gameplay wise to the Behemoth charge, but is slower and does more damage and would escape by flying away with his atomic breath, which can still hit you and damage you. His Atomic Breath would do said effluvia type effect stupid quickly, killing you. Due to it being constant, your health can't recover, unless you have the ability that makes it recover faster. He'd have an effluvia type effect simply called Radiation (As Godzilla gives off a large radius of radiation canonically), but the thing is it doesn't do damage, as it causes your health to slowly drain, leaving the recoverable health behind. He's slow, powerful, and ridiculously durable. But we already have the Behemoth from Final Fantasy in the game, so Godzilla wouldn't be out of place.
